Dear friends and Stollen family,

 

For over 15 years it has been our absolute joy to bake and ship your favorite holiday Stollen all across Canada and the United States. This year, after a lot of thought, we’ve made the tough decision not to open our online store for Christmas 2025.

 

Several challenges have lined up all at once this season:

 

• Ongoing supply-chain disruptions are making some of our key ingredients unreliable and difficult to secure in the quantities we need
• New cross-border regulations and unpredictable duties/tariffs (especially to the U.S.) could lead to unexpected costs or delays for you
• Current labour talks and the very real possibility of a Canada Post strike during the critical holiday shipping window

 

Above all, our promise to you remains the same: every Stollen must arrive fresh, beautiful, and exactly when you expect it.

 

Rather than risk disappointing you with late packages, extra fees, or anything less than the perfect experience you’ve come to trust us for, we’ve decided to focus 100 % on serving our wonderful local customers in-store this December.

 

We’re truly sorry to anyone who was looking forward to ordering from us this year — please know this hurts our hearts too.
